Warranty/Return Policy
Return/Exchange Procedures
Camera replacement and repair At our option, RSS will facilitate the replacement of defective product falling in to two categories: Out-of-Box Failure (OBF) and Defective-On Arrival (DOA).
- Camera Out-of-Box Failure An Out-of-Box Failure (OBF) is defined as
a new camera purchased through RSS authorised distribution channels and
sold to a customer that is found to be defective, within the date and
minutes of the usage guidelines defined below. The defect cannot be the
result of misuse or abuse (i.e. water damage). OBF product processing
will require documented consumer proof of purchase. To qualify as an OBF
with proof of purchase, the camera must meet the following criteria:
The camera must be returned, by the consumer, within 7 days of their original date of purchase.
The camera must have less than 15 minutes on the non-resettable call timer.
The camera must be in new condition with no signs of physical abuse (i.e. scratches, dings, broken lens, etc.) and must be returned complete with accessories, packaging material and in the original manufacturer's box. There must be no marring or writing on the manufacturer's box.
- Camera Defective-On-Arrival To qualify as a DOA, the camera must
meet the following criteria:
The camera must have been purchased from RSS, within 5 days of the DOA request.
The camera must have less than 10 minutes on the non-resettable call timer.
The camera must be in new condition with no signs of physical abuse (i.e. scratches, dings, broken lens, etc.) and must be returned complete with accessories, packaging material and in the original manufacturer's box. There must be no marring or writing on the manufacturer's box.
(NOTE: Once the unit has been sold to a customer the DOA policy is no longer applicable.)
Camera Warranty Repair
For new product, the warranty period is typically one year from the consumer's date of purchase and applies to product that performs defectively after 7 days from the consumer purchase, or after 15 minutes of use. In these cases, the repairs are covered only if the defect is not caused by any consumer misuse or abuse including but not limited to liquid damage.

We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).
