Troubleshooting
Should you encounter a problem connecting to SPOT, the following issues may be presented:
If you are not receiving an image on your cell phone:
- Press the re-set button for SPOT to re-configure the settings
- Keep an eye on the 4 LED lights on the front of the camera
- ORANGE: The orange led indicates power and armed
status. This led will flash rapidly when powering up and powering down,
The light will also flash slowly when not powered up - battery is
charging. When solid the camera is armed.
- GREEN: This led indicates your connection to the
spot server. If this led is flashing there may be a problem connecting
your camera to the spot server. The SIM card may not have been activated
If the flashing persists call the spot call center on - 0860 00 SPOT
- RED: This led indicates motion detection; it will
flash when movement is detected. If the camera is armed, it will
generate an SMS and record the event.
- YELLOW: This led indicates the GPRS signal. If solid it has a GPRS signal. If flashing it is transmitting images, this could be a result of someone connecting or an alarm has being triggered and the camera is streaming.
